Fall on Lent Hill
The Eveland Road entryway beckons, almost like a cathedral arch
opening up to our very own Beechner Road
which glows golden yellow with fallen leaves glistening in the
sun
a carpet of red and yellow and orange spreads out before you
while green leaves linger above, waiting their turn
and then the road opens out into a spectacle of fall glory
and our wonderful cabin extends its warmest welcome.

not too long before it's time for
a late fall walk in the upper Pond Meadow
The fields are bare, the trees have lost their leaves, and
a dusting of snow is on the crunchy ground. It's a wonderful day to see
your breath in the air.
