  Noted events in his life were:

• Property: several properties, 1672/1684, Fairfield, Fairfield, CT. Before 4 Oct 1672 he purchased from Joseph Patchen, Sr., his house on Wolf Pit Plain "which sometimes pertayned" to Thomas Morehouse. By 23 Mar 1676 he purchased from his brother Samuel Morehouse and by 22 Mar 1681 from Joseph Patchen, Sr., all their interest within the bounds of Fairfield. On 9 Nov 1684 he similarly bought from his brother John Morehouse of Southampton.

Jonathan married Mary Wilson, daughter of Edward Wilson and Unknown, in 1684. (Mary Wilson was born about 1655 and died before 1690 in Fairfield, Fairfield, CT.)

Jonathan also married Rebecca Knowles, daughter of John Knowles and Unknown, on Apr 16, 1690 in Fairfield, Fairfield, CT. (Rebecca Knowles died on Aug 21, 1727.)
